We know that situations arise when you need assistance in moving only a piece or two, such as a large piece of furniture or a piano. It can be hard to find a moving company that is willing to do this, but the team at Garrett’s Moving and Storage is more than willing to provide this service for your convenience. We will handle all aspects of the move, from packing to loading to overnight storage if necessary. Wherever you're moving, our first priority is that your item is delivered to its new location in perfect condition. We know you have choices when it comes to selecting your moving company. Please bear in mind that we do have a minimum charge for such services, which accounts for two hours of labor, and one hour of travel for local moves. It's impossible to provide you with an accurate quote without consulting with you first, but we wanted to make sure that clients are aware that a small move as described here would start at $336 to cover the labor and travel mentioned previously. Should your labor take longer than 2 hours, additional charges accrue in 15 minute increments. This ensures that you are not paying for time you don’t need us.
Any specialty moves outside of the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex would be priced differently depending on the factors typically reviewed for interstate moves: weight, timing, and distance. If you have such a need, it's best to give us a call so we can evaluate the job and provide you with a more accurate estimate.
